Funny story: I ran into one of my close girlfriends yesterday at dinner; we were leaving, they were just getting there, so it was a quick hi-bye. 5 minutes later, she sent me a text saying that she didn't even realize I'd gotten my hair cut until just then because "it looks so right on you" I suppose I should've gone back to the bob sooner, eh?

Astrid, I was feeling the same way the last month or so and I think it was just that the cut needed freshening up; sometimes with longer hair we forget how much even a little refresher can improve the look. I was actually debating between this type of cut or leaving it long but with really dramatic layer heights (shorter on top, long on bottom), and ultimately decided I was ready to go back to short hair since it's been a while. I hope you find something that makes you feel better about your hair soon, it's so pretty!
Abie, she was a curly girl's dream! After confirming that I wear my hair curly (yay for asking that up front!) she did the process I most prefer: wash, do basic cut while wet, cut in more detailed layers while half-dry, diffuse the rest of the way dry, cut in fine details and shaggy bits and final shaping etc. with the hair DRY, then LASTLY got in there with the product and curling iron. Definitely a keeper!
