I approve- they are cute and look great with your jeans.
BUT, the fact that you utterly adore them should be reason enough to keep- you will feel great wearing them!

I would wear them in a heartbeat. Love them.

I think they're super cute. Definitely an improvement over the Keens.

I think they look great. And hey, if YOU adore them, that's what really matters!

The lasses with foot issues unite! I am right there with you.

The Fluevogs look KILLER and fit into your style 100%. More importantly Medusa, are your feet happy?

Jealous! I've been wanting to try Fluevogs for a while! I love the style. They look great, Medusa! Enjoy.

Yay, Medusa, you got the Fluevogs! They look fantastic, and I am glad they work with your inserts. I've always loved their styles, but have never taken the plunge myself. Perhaps this will change after your next batch of outfits

Medusa, I am a latecomer to this thread and was going to comment and say that the Fluevog Tennysons were my favorite, but now I see that you have already purchased them. Hooray! I love the brogue detailing, and even the slight heel makes it look just smarter and not as heavy as some of the other styles you were looking at. Are they still comfortable now that you have had a little while to try them out? Hope so!

Ditto all the positive comments! When I looked at the photos, I immediately thought that those shoes looked like *you.*

Also, for future searches, I will expand on something suggested by Kari: a visible heel always (to me) makes a shoe look less like casual gear. Not a "heel" as in a high heel, just a heel that can be seen when you look at the shoe from the side. Shoes that are completely flat across the bottom look a lot more casual -- fine if you're after a casual vibe, but for your work outfits, seeing the heel makes the shoe look smarter.

So glad you found these!

Thanks everyone! I am so so so grateful for all the help choosing shoes. I can't thank you enough.

I wore the Tennysons last night to the NY Philharmonic performance of Messiah. They were very comfortable, looked good (I think) and I had no problem walking around in the New York blizzard that happened last night. Yay! I'm thrilled.

I'm so glad you're happy with them! And I'm so excited to 1) see them in action with your outfits and 2) see the Keens retired (or at least put into rotation less).

Whew! I wanted to cry for you just reading this thread! I got impatient just with my coat....you're a REAL trooper! I like your choice and I'm so glad they are comfortable too. The performance sounds like quite a treat. You deserve it!
