Can I Pull These Off?

These are exactly as comfortable as Angie said. Which shouldn't surprised me, but did. They are lot more comfortable and supportive than any other Sam Edelman shoe I have tried.

They are, however, A LOT of shoe.

I'm not exactly sure I can pull these off with jeans in a casual corporate environment without looking...off.

Even just looking at your headline, my answer was yes. It’s still a black pair of shoes. Of course you can pull this off. They’re cute. The may be a lot of bling for a shoe, but they’re still just shoes and only a fraction of any outfit. Enjoy the comfort of them.

I suspect, that once your eye adjusts, these will become favorites and make a simple jean outfit special. Loafers are great with jeans and can be worn year round..

These are the kind of thing that seem like a bigger deal when you’re not used to them. I felt the same way about my gold-toed Born boots, but after the first few wears, I stopped being self-conscious and forgot I was even wearing something “statementy”.

I think they are kind of modest with a twist I mean in a good way. You will get used to them quickly and so will your colleagues. Especially if they are super comfortable! Enjoy them!

Thistle- you've got this. They are comfortable. They are black. They have details. Against a backdrop of the simpler pieces that work well with your jeans, .they are jewelry, a little bit of a break from routine. Sometimes we all need something different.

Now this is coming from someone who has had to find my sweet spot for pushing my own understated envelope. I have occasionally gone to far. Wear them around; try them with your fall pieces and see what you think. But comfortable, fresh shoes are a huge temptation.
