These are my go-to winter slippers. They have much more arch support and cushioning than anything else I've worn. I need a "full" back or my feet slide out, so nothing like slides works for me. I don't know exactly what the lining material is, they just call it "faux chinchilla" but it is warm and comfortable, and my feet do not perspire in it like they do in most synthetic linings. Check out the reviews, at least one person said the toe box was not big enough for them. A normal toe box works for me. I'm on my second pair and may need to get another before the winter is through....they have gotten holes near the big toe probably from my toenail, although it's not like I have long or sharp toenails Maybe that says something about the toe box height. They come in a few colors. The company has a lot of other styles, some that look like they may have wool linings.....acorn.com.
