I think many people do this. That product loyalty is likely why consumers get so upset when a product they have loved over the years is changed or updated in some way.

Thanks everybody for chiming in, nice to know I am not alone

I have also repeated bags - Longchamp shoppers. I commuted to work and worn a couple of them out. Now I don’t commute anymore and usually have only one bag with me to work, but I always own one of the exact same large size Longchamp, colors can vary.

In a perfect world, I could buy the exact same black silk shirt and/or blouse over and over. They are so hard to find in nice quality for a reasonable price, so when it happens, I buy multiples. Then, they always disappear the next season…. A simple black silk blouse is my HEWI

I tend to stick with brands that fit, but not specific items. The exception was when skinny jeans were in, and I kept buying the same discontinued boot cuts for as long as I could find them NWT. I did the same thing when Brooks messed up my favorite running shoes with a redesign; I kept buying the old models NIB until the prices started getting collector-y.

Uniqlo Heattech, and Uniqlo long sleeve v neck tees. Socks, bras and underwear are a given.

Shoes- I’m on my 3rd pair of Frankie4 Winnie sneakers and my 3rd pair of Munro Pisces sandals. I have sensitive, narrow feet and like to walk. I say sensitive but maybe my feet are better described as neurotic. They seem to form strong opinions about whether something is uncomfortable, and rarely change their mind! So when I find shoes that I like, which fit, and are comfortable, I’ll repeat buy.
I find shoe shopping a fraught exercise, have had too many times when I spent money on shoes and it turned out I could only wear them for short distances or days at the desk.

Very loyal to fitness kit. Longest history: Speedo flyback bathing suit, Vanquisher goggles, Thorlo socks (40 years +).

Fashion wise: Parkhurst wool berets, Uniqlo ultralight puffers, Converse sneakers, Tilley Hiker’s Hat. None acquired at the same time, but rather picked up at intervals of a year or more apart.

I have been a loyal and repeat buyer of Uniqlo U short-sleeved tee shirts; the thin mock and turtleneck Heattech pullovers, and the Airism camis for many years, but Uniqlo has recently changed the fit on all of them. My sister has benefited from my recent ill-fitting purchases, but I am well and truly peeved. I no longer feel I can order confidently, and wait to visit a store, where I can try on items I'm considering buying.

I often purchase undies like bras/ socks/ slipshorts in exact duplicates.

I replaced my FitFlop Heda sandals with the exact same blush version last year when the strap started to stretch out. But I've also repurchased them in black (for my black capsule wardrobe)...

...So most of my repeats are actually in a different colour (since I'm not adventurous in my silhouettes but moreso my palette ). The biggest culprit for me are Seasalt's cotton Vanessa cardigan (open 3/4), Easel top (long sleeved) & Landing top (turtleneck). Very boring silhouettes perhaps, but they're all such a mainstay in summer, autum & winter respectively

Black (mostly) patent loafers (including log soles) for work in an office- collected them over the years to replace all my heels. I'm wearing these to all my Spring/Fall office wear (skirts/dresses/pants) with black sheers.

Sneakers for me - I love Nike Airmax 97's - the design was inspired by Japanese bullet trains and they are very comfy and come in fun colourways. My grey pair were purchased 7 years ago in Japan which started this obsession!

I bought a favourite blouse in three different colours and a favourite bao bao bag style in three different colours.

I love your sneakers, Katerina. You wear them with such style! I don't have an item like that that I duplicate exactly, except for undies. Even if I think I'm going to duplicate an item, I usually end up getting something slightly different.
