Deep and vibrant jewel tones are my favorite colors, so I was overjoyed to see Angie's ensemble post last Friday. I really do need to find a better way to take photos in my new home. Winter lighting is quite the challenge, but I did my best!
1-3: New bootcuts! I've been searching for months for a new pair of bootcuts. I have a couple from 5 years ago in my closet, but I wanted a dark rinse, without serious overdying, and a newer, easier fit. I was hoping for a little less stretch (these are 2 percent, rather than 1 percent, spandex), but they feel like jammies, and the length and waist are perfect. They are AB Democracy from the Rack. Fit is generous, just like me! I layered my new jeans with burgundy and purple. So fun, although I'm sure it's not everyone's cuppa.
4-5: OK, so I've not managed to work grey in, but this shell (Merona, last year) brings together many hues. It's hard to tell in the photo, but I'm wearing my Alfani bordeaux colored trousers -- a very deep burgundy with leather accents. These are a generously cut slim-straight trousers. Very comfy.
