Bra fitting and jeans shopping

Yay, today my mood is a lot better than yesterday. You ladies helped me so much with all of your answers to my rant and body shape question.

Today I went for a spontaneous bra fitting in a shop in the small town where my parents live. The sales lady was GREAT and really knew what she was doing. I tried about 10 or 12 bras and bought two of them. And then I also bought a few matching undies. Feels very nice. I'm going to clean out my underwear drawer tomorrow.

And while I was there I also had a look around in the clothes section. I found a pair of skinnies that fit very well and are a nice very dark wash. And I tried a long cardi that I normally would have passed. It skims over my apple-tummy and looks great on me! I'm going to get the clothes as birthday presents next week and then I'll post some pictures. Until now here are the retail photos (only I got the cardi in purple):

So it seems it IS possible to find clothes for me.

Love the cardigan! Congrats on the shopping. Feels great doesn't it! Maya would be very proud of your bra success. She's got a fantastic post around here about how to get a properly fitted bra and it quite literally changed my world!

what a difference a day makes huh? Some days are just a shopping bust and then other days you hit the jackpot. I love that cardi.. it will look great on you with those skinnies

FiestyWife, I read Maya's thread on bra-fitting a while ago. It's great! But I have to say if you get a proper fitting by someone who knows her trade, it's a different thing altogether. I have never had such a good shopping experience before.

Queenie, thanks for taking matters in hand for me.;-) I felt much more relaxed after the w(h)ine. (Oh my, I am clever today.)
