Had these on a US10/12 client yesterday and they were great - although she needed a LONG, and we ordered that in stores.

She has larger calves, and they were not that calf-sucking. You do though, have to like skinnies to like the Sloans. Said client does, and got them in teal. She's thrilled!

Can be worn CASUALLY too

Personally, I find the BR Sloans too skinny, and stuck to Boden for my own velvet pants (old and new). They are less tight all over, and roomier on the legs. I have two pairs that I had altered to fit. (Mustard and Red). I wear them casually, and dress them up.
