In the first set of pics I actually prefer the T-shirt untucked, and in the second set I like the moto jacket and the flannel jacket. I have a bit of a personal poison eye for denim jackets so please ignore that, just telling you what appeals to me.

Great skirt! I like it best with the denim jacket (and with the sweater from the first set of pics). I think a big loose tee could work if you can figure out how to reign in the volume some. A belt? A knot?

I was voting for the short jacket, and think each of these works, for a variety of occasions. So, good find that expands your comfort zone!

Thank you everyone. I think the denim jacket and the moto jacket are clear winners. Its interesting because I felt the moto jacket just made me look more short waisted but I think I need to be braver.
