YAY !! It was the right decision Karie !!! It is just beautiful. It struck me just now looking at it how you can really wear it with casual clothes. It really is versatile.

I love the striped shirt under neath it from the back. One of my favorite combos : stripes and flowers.

What a gorgeous jacket! This is the sort of item that can stay with you for years. A fine memento of a fabulous weekend. The capped flats are lovely, too, and perfect for transitional weather.

Thank you everyone! I didn't get the jacket the first night because, while I had my credit card, I had left my driver's license (for ID) back at the hotel. Of course they never ask for it when you have it with you, and always ask for it when you don't. The store told me they would hold it for 24 hrs. and Isabel was a darling and took me back for it the next day! She is such as sweetie.

And I can't really take credit for finding the blazer on my own. Yes, I located it in the store, but it was only because I listened and learned from Angie (and everyone else) all day that I knew what to look for!

And Sveta, DH loved the blazer. The first thing he said was, "WOW, it's beautiful - and great quality, too!" I think he might actually be listening when I rattle on about YLF

This jacket is even prettier on Karie in person. When she put it on we immediately knew how perfect it is on her. All the better that Mr. Karie loves it too. Did he like what you found for him?

I'm actually planning on wearing it to work tomorrow (live on the edge, I say!). I have a morning meeting with other staff and district personnel, and then an ice cream party with the second graders in the afternoon (the blazer will NOT go to the ice cream party!).

I simply cannot be on any other team but team wear!
