I ordered these from NAS and unfortunately they don't work for me but wanted to post the info for others on the hunt.

The website says they are 14" tall, but in the size 7 I ordered they are 15 1/2" tall. Sadly, way too tall for me (I really need 14"). It also says the calf is 13 1/2" but my size 7 is 13 1/4" (inside measurement). They are made so they can adjust easily to a larger calf size also and would be perfect for someone who has different sizes from one leg to the other (I remember someone posting this issue very recently). There are elastic loops on the back that hook under the buttons and the piece of leather behind the area is only attached at the lower calf so the elastic loops can stretch to accommodate a larger calf and the leather behind will cover the area. It seems that this would make it possible to wear with jeans tucked in and with tights or bare legs for a skirt or dress. It's a nice looking solution for an adjustable calf.
They are a nice quality leather and if the height had been accurate I would be keeping them. On a side note, I'm frustrated because this is the second time I've ordered something (in the last month) because of the dimensions listed on Nordstrom's site that have turned out to be incorrect. The last order was for jeans and the rise was listed as 1" longer that in actuality. I really depend on the info they provide on the web because I have to travel quite a ways to get to my nearest Nordstrom's. Rant over!
I'm back on the hunt for flat riding boots with a 14" high shaft and a narrow calf. If anyone happens to see any, I'd love to hear.
