Help! I really love the looks of boots with skirts...but, because I wear what is considered modest dress, all my skirts go below the knee (some hit right at the knee). I bought a pair of long brown boots (these ones http://www.sears.ca/product/ny.....150-137650), and I just felt they didn't look right with my skirts. Then I looked at some wedge booties (http://srs.ca.flyerservices.co....._CC084F513.), and again, i feel i look funny in them. I didn't have tights on, and maybe that might make a difference, but I do want to wear different colour tights with my hopefully new booties.

I'm short, 5'2" and everything about me is short. I was hoping to get a pair of boots with a heel to help give me some height, but I'm wondering if maybe I should consider a different type of shoe. (I'm a 41 year old stay at home mom if that makes any difference too).

I'd love some thoughts or advice with this.
