I'm loving the bootcut posts, inspired by Rae I think, so it got me thinking about my bootcuts. The problem with boot cuts or any wide legged pant for me is even if I only attempt to wear them with one shoe, because my heel heights all vary, the length is never right due to weight fluctuation. If I eat wheat or any of the other unidientified foods that cause me to bloat, or it is that time of the month, the pants get shorter or longer. One pair were too short for flats, which I hemmed them for on a skinny day. I've stopped buying & even wearing them most of the time because they are rarely the right length for the shoes or boots I have. They will be too long for one & too short for the other. If only my weight fluctuations matched heel height increments.
