I've been looking at the Boden dresses on sale and think this dress would fit well in my closet. I decided navy would make the most sense, but it's sold out in my size. Not excited about black. I kind of like the navy and amber, but last year I bought a navy with orange polka dot Hallie dress with short sleeves--very casual. I need something a little dressier, but not too dressy.

They do have it my size in a navy long, but I'm afraid it might be too long. Also, I seem to be loading up on navy lately.

Also, I'm a bit afraid that the print might look "old lady," i.e., the kind of dress my great-aunts wore back in the 50s.

Keeping in mind that right now I'm older than some of those grandmotherly great aunts were in their dresses, anyone have any advice or comments for me?

Nordstrom has the same dress online but it's not on sale.
