Perfect! I didn't think I wore blush, but I guess I do because I wear ice pink! I learn something new every day!

My version would be pink-toned, but I usually shy away from anything described as blush because I find it too pale. I could find ways to wear it - probably in small doses away from my face - but it's not really a shade that appeals to me very much. I prefer something with a little more colour, such as rose.

I had a try at the blush and black, too. Keeping it real and very casual! I will wear it again and would like to try some lighter accessories with it.
I would just call this pale pink. It helps me a bit to look for 'warm, clear and light ' colours to suit me. But like Maneera I can't recognise warm or cool tones well. I'm not colour blind, AFAIK.

Learning a lot about blush here. I think my preference is the ice pink blush tone but I definitely need to experiment with blush because I love the look with black.

I love the idea of blush but I have no idea what shade I should be wearing. I was intrigued by the idea of a blush blazer for Spring, but after trying a couple only to have them look terrible on me, I gave up. My feeling is that shades with "icy" or "muddy" descriptors aren't good directions for me, but I don't know where to look instead. I guess the opposites are "warm" and "saturated" ... but is that still blush?

oh i'm so confused.....i always have issues with where one color stops and another starts....and warm vs cool, saturated vs ....i don't even know what the opposite of saturated is.....off to re-read to see if i can make sense of this.

You know it's funny, but although I wear warm toned shades I ordered a slightly warm toned blush sweater a while back and it just ended up blending too much with my skin tone. My blush leather jacket is quite peachy and I think pretty saturated, so I think it's a fine line between getting enough contrast to my skin.

I ordered some blush fabric for a draped trench a while back and although I did see a sample of it, when the length arrived all I could think of was that it seemed a bit too clear in tone and might look a tad too icy. I'm hoping it'll work... if not...another wasted length of fabric

I love a light pink and think it is better next to my skin than the warmer blush shades - thanks for the clarification!
