I would vote Blue! You look great in both, but the blue is more 'elegant', the coral more 'fun'.

I think I'd go with blue but if you can afford it both would be nice additions to your summer wardrobe.

Gosh, this is a tough call. I vote blue, though. It's more versatile and looks quite sophisticated.

They both look gorgeous on you Janet, but my vote is for the blue one. In the end, I think it will be a more versatile color for you and work with more of your accessories.

Coming back to ask which one you picked and to say I voted coral because it reminded me of this outfit of yours - http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....casual-wiw

I loved seeing you in such vibrant color.

Blue! Unless it is too similar to the black, then I vote Coral!

Wow, interesting! Coral started out strong but now blue has taken the lead. I'm still not sure. The light blue piping on the blue one does seem to skew a little more casual and may be a little more limiting for styling, but it would also look really good with one of my pairs of sandals. I like the coral because its fun to have something bright sometimes, and I think it would look good with my new Tuttle sandals. I like the blue as a more subtle alternative to the black one. I'm wearing the black dress again today (3rd wear in a week) so it's definitely a workhorse. Hmmm.

Also just realized that the coral may look good with my Leitmotiv printed bomber (very lightweight).

You forgot to include the third option:

  • BOTH
I really can't decide - I love them both on you, leaning toward the coral if absolutely forced to make a choice.

Coral. It's a little Santa Barbara, and I don't see you as Santa Barbara, but I don't like the blue on you at all. I think it washes you out.

I much prefer the blue! I find the coral a little too yellow for your skin tone - unless the colour is off in the photo. And you can't match it with white to cool it down because that would defeat the purpose of the frock!

Hmm, I'd have to say the color *is* off in the photos. Taken at night in an oddly-lit bathroom (I cannot wait to redo our darn bathroom).

The color of the red looks almost neon-y in this photo, now that I'm looking at it on my computer. The actual color is a bit softer. The blue doesn't seem to suffer as much as the red in that light.

Still considering. Many thanks for all the great food for thought!

Boy, the votes seem to be pretty evenly divided. They both look great on you, so you can do no wrong, but I like the coral—really pretty with your coloring! ( I also like your haircut!)

Coral, it's looks lovely against your hair and it jumped out at me.
