I was excited to see 2 blue leather jackets in the NAS that caught my eye. As I was trying to decide which one, I had momentary panic that this item could become an orphan because I don't know what color shoes I would wear with it. So first, which jacket? Second, how you you style it?

I like the first one. But is it designed to be worn indoors?

So, I took another look, and suede and lambskin seem to be more outerwear. Still not sure as it would depend on how heavy they are and your climate.

If indoor jackets, I would wear them over a column of color, or pair with ink trousers and a lighter color top for a sort of modern business casual look.

Can you order both to see which fits and feels better? Do you have any metallic or grey shoes or boots? Another alternative would be cognac. In my casual life I would wear the jacket with jeans, boots, long sleeve tees and a scarf. I can't imagine a navy leather jacket getting orphaned. The first one is suede. Would that be a problem in your life?

I own a blue leather moto. It's the one in the Finds. It's a bit lighter than navy -- sort of a denim blue.

For footwear, I have worn:

Grey/taupe sandal booties
Black booties
Ink booties
Snake print booties
Burgundy booties
Leopard sneakers
White sneakers
Off-white booties

I still can't figure out how to upload a find butI bought this Halogen leather jacket yesterday and it is butter soft and I just love it. I noticed online they call it Teal but it is definitely an ink color to my eye. I actually think it looks very similar to the Marc Jacobs.

I have a cobalt faux suede jacket and I wear it with everything. Maybe not burgundy shoes but even that seems fine with me. Definitely wear my cobalt jacket with cognac and black and taupe, which are my dominat winter colors.

Navy seems even easier to coordinate.

I have a black leather Moto that I already wear with black Chelsea boots and I have a pair of frye Melissa button boots in grey that I bought at NAS several years ago. Perhaps a pair of animal print of some sort? I just want the blue leather jacket to add to my wardrobe, not just basically duplicate my black one.

I don't think it would duplicate if it is a blue enough blue. I suppose a dark ink jacket might feel like a duplicate in a way.

Thank Angie! I have a larger bust, but not big hips. It also seems that the suede one is unlined. Do you recall if that is true? Of course, neither is available at my local store...

Hard to see the fit from here..it's really hard to take these photos! But I think I prefer the suede one.

I also think the pics are perhaps too dark, but that said, I would have initially picked the lambskin jacket, for being streamlined and overall more versatile. But seeing them both on you (again, in bad light) it seems like the moto fits you really better and has a nice statement presence.
