They are really gorgeous. My only reservation is about comfort - I wonder if the break at the front between the toe piece and the main body of the boot would be irritating - I'd get them if I knew that I could easily return them if they were't comfortable

The buckle is awesome, actually.

My JC booties *are* fairly stiff, though. They are not 8-hour shoes for me, but I put up with it because they're so tough looking.
