Thank you SO MUCH for all these great ideas.
I like the bomber jacket idea but I haven't yet developed an eye for it. I'm probably way behind the times, but when I looks at those jackets, they remind me of high school cheerleading, football, etc. (Sorry!) They don't yet feel right to me for a business meeting, in other words.
I like the leather jacket idea too, but personally am not into wearing a lot of leather. So that's not the right look for me either.
The knit moto idea is most appealing. Given my (larger) bust, the double breasted one may not be the most flattering. Maybe there's a moto that is just mildly asymmetrical...or maybe I could wear that Halogen knit moto jacket open. It is cute and even on sale.
Again, really appreciate everyone chiming in. I do have a black wool cardigan and a white cotton cardigan which have been worn 1000x, so trying to update the look at bit.
