Biviel brand boots

I purchased these boots in black at the Nordstroms sale. I wasn't really in the market for a pair of boots that day, but I knew I would get some black boots someday. When I got home I saw that they are from the BP Juniors dept. I am 54 and now think they are made for my grand daughter. What do you think? I am a bit worried about the length on me also, being they are only 12" shaft height.

Ofcourse I would rather have these Attilio Giusti Leombruni, but I have very expensive taste, darn it.

San, I really like the boots and don't think you need to worry one bit about age issues. As far as the shaft height goes, we'll need pics of you to give an opinion. I bet you can pull it off though.

I really like the boots! I occasionally shop in the BP department, too, I see no issue. The boots certainly don't look juvenile.
Agree with Patience that it's hard to comment on the shaft height without seeing them on you. But with your slim build I think you have quite some flexibility there.

San, no, no, Biviel is not just for juniors - I have bought them too. I have no idea why they are in BP. These boots are great! The price is really good too compared to other Biviel boots - usually they are over $200, aren't they? Great find!

p.s. you do have exquisite taste in boots. and clothing.

As a fellow in the "50 club" I would love to see a pic of you wearing those boots! I'll bet they look great. To my eye they don't have any over-the-top trendy details that would put them into the junior column.

Of course the Leombruni boot? Amazing. (Aren't we all supposed to be rich CEO's at this age? What happened????)

Love the boots! Biviel shoes are very pretty in general and I am not sure why Nordstrom sells them in the junior section - I don't think there is anything extremely juvenile about them. I hope the shaft height works out!

Thanks for the comments. I'm glad to know that the brand is not juvinile.
I'll try to get some pictures this weekend. I sure hope to get a camera under the Christmas tree. I've missed mine since it quit a while back. I have to use my husbands work camera when he is home and I really prefer to take pictures wile he is not home so he doesn't think I'm nutty for taking so many pictures of myself!
