Hah Sveta, I haven't posted my outfits or thoughts yet... I think I will be the last >< What a fun read, I especially enjoyed your little recap tidbits (those guys on the walk back all thought they were so clever, didn't they!). The Madewell one was especially hilarious ^^ I'm soooo glad you got those jeans, they were incredible looking on you. GREAT purchases, and I am floored at how picky and patient you have been in waiting for your dressy black boots. I didn't see them in person, so I can't wait for them to start popping up in your outfit posts. Also looking forward to seeing how the Express trousers turn out.

I got my culottes today and they're great! Too long, but great. I still vote shorten yours by 1.5-2". Try them with your tall boots though, and see what length you like with them. I think the shorter lengths work with more footwear, so how they look with the tall boots is the deciding factor for me.

Thank you all for reading my novel - I thought I have nothing to write and ended up writing a monstrous post (an all of it after midnight).
Mary, the feeling is very mutual - you are a YLF star for sure! And - heh-heh - your loot was also spectacular!
Gigi - indeed! 4 years of PPP payed back at last!
Suz, I was chucking about carrying home 3 pairs of black footwear too. We missed you dreadfully, darling!
Sharan, magic indeed and you were a part of it. Thanks for the skirt!
Denise, the pleasure was all mine - it was fun to share the talk over those endless glasses of your white wine (OK, two). You are as cool and chic as I imagined you to be.
Ornella, you should have seen how they MADE me buy clothes: bossy Angie at her best!
Eliza / Windchime, I am almost 5'11". These shadow plaid pants were not available in Tall in my size online. As they are now they are just covering the base of my heels at 33" but there is 1" which can be let down. They are straight legs with 17" opening (size 10). I want to taper them to 14-15" opening and then the length should be fine. 34" is a good length for me for the tapered pant. However if your legs are longer than mine it may not be enough.
Style Fan - Ontario winters here too! I swear by Blondo brand - have flat riding boots for 2 seasons which were great in ice / snow / slush...that's why I am so excited about these Blondo boots. Finding low heel dressy boots is hard but finding them in winter-worthy form is almost impossible!
DEB - in my earlier life I was anything but stylish and glamorous. No modeling for me! As for the culottes - they are not everybody's cup of tea but I like them. Let's see if I can style them in non-frumpy way.
Jamie, I think culottes run true to size according to their size chart. I cannot really say for the waist as this is not a problematic spot for me and they sit below it. However the hip width for size 10 matches my hip width pretty accurately. I think you can trust their size chart - and they also come in sky blue online!
LBD, oysters look scarier than they are!

Debbie, and how thick I was to hesitate buying them when they got Angie's approval- right? (meeting you was awesome).
Angie, you are too kind ( and I cannot forget that dress - can I? I just could not find it on the website but I wore it today already).
Claire, meeting you was like living in a dream! My only regret is that you only had 1 day to spend with us and I did not get to talk to you as much as I would loved
Diane, the calm chowder was stellar, right? I am so glad you made it to Seattle and we had some fun together!
Cerinda - oysters! Aren't they fun? Loved meeting you as well and hopefully not the last time!
Deb, I so enjoyed your company and our conversations. You are fab! (and the hat, THE HAT!)
Aida, my little "twin"! I am tickled pink to be culotte twin with you in addition to the plaid jeans. Yes, I will try them with different footwear before I decide on anything. (and those guys had no idea...although we must have been quite a pair together )

Wow! This was a pleasure to read. I love reading everyone's recap of the SSIF… so fun. I really wish I was there. Congrats on the amazing loot too -- gorgeous, gorgeous finds.

By the way, I own a few pairs of those Express trousers and they're really nice. You'll enjoy them!

Great haul Sveta, and I can attest, that Angie was so persuasive! I was standing between you and she and feeling like I should buy some too, and I didn't even try anything on!

I love reading these SSIF reports - Sveta, it sounds like you had the most wonderful time and I can only hope to meet you and the other Fabbers one day.

Your loot score is FANTASTIC! Wow. Love every single one of these pieces for you and can hardly wait to see all the ways you wear these new beauties.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us

Marianna, I wish you were there too!
Ann, she is, isn't she? The power that woman has over us is unbelievable!
Shannon, the day we meet at last would be a cause for a celebration for sure!

It sounds like you had a such a great time! Thanks for posting photos and info on your loot - it all looks lovely!

I really like the Ugg boots. I've been searching for a pair of Chelsea boots and the Ugg ones were in consideration, along with the LK Bennett ones. May I ask which other Chelsea boots you looked at? Thanks!

I really enjoyed your observations, I could visualize every situation and smiled at your comments. I wish I could have seen the boot fashion show. By now we know the dress is a 12 out of 10 on you. I can't wait to see how you style the culottes, I see them as a statement piece, I bet they move beautifully. And the jeans! I love the small, high pockets on the back – so hard to find – I find them flattering. Will wait for WIWs of your amazing finds.

Sveta, so this was your SSIF haul? I LOVE IT and seeing the images all together brings it all back. Now, I want to see you in these beauties.

I will never forget those PB & J bonbons Angie ordered on Friday; nor will I forget you being the first first-timer to down a raw oyster and the entire table responding with huge applause.

What an amazing summary of our days and nights together. It was historic, memorable and I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have roomed with you and Deb. You two are simply the best and I'll be ready for the next YLF meet-up, wherever it takes place.

Vicki, you were the best room mate ever!
Banoffi, these UGGs were the only Chelsea pair I tried on - others were black boots but not Chelsea. If your feet are low volume these UGGs may not work for you.

What a wonderful recap! I am so happy for you to have been at such an epic event... Thank you for sharing it with us all! I echo the others - I can't wait to see your fabulous finds on you!!

Thankyou for sharing, Sveta, and I love that you were so taken aback by your own reflection in you new outfit! That truly is the best compliment ever :). You and Aida made fabulous outfit twins, btw......xo

P. S. Here's the fab Deb Departure Outfit you mentioned in your post. It was on my phone and I wanted to make sure you had it here.

I am so sorry about chiming in so late: I am still so dazzled by our absolutely magnificent gathering that I am actually still quite speechless__

It truly was a dream come true for me to finally meet you (yep, we did it!-), and all the other wonderful ladies. You are even more elegant, graceful, gorgeous, kind-hearted, sensitive, thoughtful, caring and funny in real life, dear Sveta. Love you too!

You should see my huge smile right now (I would have taken a picture but am already in my PJs and I will spare you that:-) I kept nodding and smiling while reading your write-up, it really was a magical long weekend, wasn’t it. I am also still very moved that all these meaningful connections and friendship have all been made possible thanks to the unique and best-in-the-world community Angie and Greg created for us.

I saw most of your fantastic Seattle loot, and am thrilled that you went home with such amazing stuff. SO glad we could convince you to buy those Madewell jeans, the jacquard dress was made for statuesque you, those cream culottes are perfect (love them at this length, but definitely try them with all your footwear to see which length would be most versatile), the Express pants are brilliant (I finally did manage to snap up a pair of the shadow plaid ones in long, yay), the striped AT shirt is so beautiful and elegant on you, it’s so fun to be white shirt twins with you, and HURRAH for finding three pairs of fabulous shoes! It will be so fun to see all these items pop up in your WIWs over the next couple of months.

Thank you for all the very, very sweet words, and for prolonging your trip and flying over especially to meet us!! (I am still pinching myself about that!)

I want to do it all over again next weekend!-)
