I have been doing a major wardrobe edit and having the most success ever, even though I've been through the process many times before.

I'm getting rid of a lot of stuff, sure, bout it's not the volume-- it's that the reasons make more sense. Both tossing and keeping
Fit is king, but not enough. Proportion
is a big yes/ no Question as I'm trying on things together. If a combo seems to be duplicated("uniforms") I'm asking, are they all great? Which ones

are there just because its a option and not because us fab ?, I'm also weeding out colors but with some wiggle room-- if I like it.
I ask myself what or how is this item "driving " style or choices. Color for
example could be style- neutral-- everything goes with black!- or it may
see it driving me toward more of the same wrong color in order to match. Skirts or dresses or pants may be driving me toward a shoe style I do or
do not want more of. Or an item may
not be in my key color but it is keeping me for now in a silhouette that is where I want to go. That sort of thing. And of course, the old favorites that I
thought I should keep forever, I am letting go of some.

I don't think I've evolved to the totally ruthless stage, and still have some things in the "maybe" closet. Plus I
fully expect some of the things I'm keeping may need more weeding out, as I keep wearing and asking, does this really belong?

Still, this winnowing has made more
sense to me than before, and i owe so much of that to YLF
