I have this from last year, in burgundy, and like it a lot. It's very warm, but also quite lightweight, and packs down very small (took it in carry-on to Japan). On mine, the hood is attached to the coat, not the vest piece. It looks like now the hood and vest zip out together, which I would like better.

Oh thank you, UmmLila, for doing a find! I'm leaning toward the burgundy, although my first was blue like this and was incredibly versatile. It could be a little dressy, which I don't know if burgundy can.

Ssssara - good review. Thank you! I was wondering if the vest was a real vest that could come out.

Definitely not a real vest on the one I got last year. It's more of a strip that zips into the coat to look like a vest. It gives a bit of a different look with the vest in and the coat unzipped/vest zipped, but you don't have the dual function of a coat and vest.
