I followed Viva's beach sweater thread last month closely, because I'm in the market for something similar, but I felt like most of the options in that thread had more of an East Coast/preppy vibe than what I'm looking for.
We're driving the PCH from Los Angeles to Seattle next month, and I'm expecting lots of chilly beaches and cool nights where a cropped boxy sweater or sweatshirt wouldn't go amiss. I collected a few that I like, but more options would be welcome. As always, I prefer sustainable brands and B-corps as a first option, but will venture beyond if necessary.
Finds so far:
- Known Supply Palmer Sweater: organic cotton, fair trade certified. This is a front runner
- Vetta Cropped Rib Sweatshirt: I like the shorter length and the fact that it reverses to a V-neck.
- Garnet Hill Bobble Stitch Pullover: organic cotton and linen, but it kind of looks heavy?
- Peruvian Connection Sebago Cotton Pullover: probably the least sustainable option in the list, but I like the open knit, might be too long
- Pact Split-Back Pullover: organic cotton, interesting shape in back, unsure about the neckline and length
