I don't think I'd seen your posts on the forum before: I'm new. Thanks for posting this, so now I can stalk your blog and previous posts for inspiration from another curvy redhead.

I've been reading sewing blogs lately and recently saw one where someone made their own version of this dress. Hadn't realized the original was available. Yours is great.

Thanks! We are well, but work is hectic for me until January (but in a far pleasanter way than last year.) I have been working long hours and very late days since September and am eager to get back to a more normal pace so that I can spend time here again. I haven't even had time to browse but not post like I did in the past, and I miss YLF.
Still feel pretty uninspired fashion-wise. Dyed my hair for the first time in months, wearing jeans and plain sweaters frequently, realizing that I have zero boots... And this dress is the first clothing purchase in many months, which is probably good as my spending in early 2013 was much higher than it should have been.
I think I'm reaching a place where I want to really be more minimal, but with maximal quality. Buy things far less often, cull what I don't really love, only spend on what truly works and makes my heart sing. It's not been a bad dry spell, and I've done some soul searching along the way.

Yes, for sure-even at the busiest point by far in the year, and even though I work a shift that I don't like (my last job had more flexible hours than this one), it is such a great job. I'm surrounded by smart, proactive people who inspire me and who really function as a supportive team. I am so, so grateful to be here.

Kat, I am very busty too. And my middle is bulgy. And my hips are wide, and my waist is short. It's figure hugging but the tiered cut is genius, and I feel so confident in it. At least give it a try!
