I love your outfit. Not much advice from me regarding make-up except that I too am considering a tinted moisturizer. I have never worn foundation regularly and I think some light coverage may be nice. However if I remember clearly Angie commented that she has stopped wearing any coverage except maybe SPF and I was curious why.

ETA I just posted an Ask Angie.

I like Cicapair’s/Dr. Jart’s Tiger Grass for covering redness. One jar lasts a long time.

Oh, and you look great!

Thanks, for the recs, Angie!

Joy, I have trouble matching my skin too. I’m pretty paw but there is a yellow undertone. I always choose something too pale in the store.

Thanks Nadya, I love Urban Decay too and will check out those recs. I have oily skin as well.

Firecracker, no Blue Mercury in BedStuy (too residential) but near my office. I’ve never tried them but now is a good time!

Jenava, interesting idea about Kibbe, thanks!

kkards, it’s an interesting transition. We are all hybrid and our office has been having food and other events for us all week. I need to see how things are when we settle in.

Thanks, JAileen for mentioning lip sunscreen. I will need to think about that too. I think my current issues are due to winter/masking.

Stag Fash, I don’t need a full coverage foundation per se but I’d like to be able to cover any blemishes I have. You’re right that something heavy won’t help. Good thought on Ulta.

StyleFan, I love MAC too, thanks for the recs!

Lana, half my jeans are W & W. Love them!

Thanks for the recs, Roberta!

Nancy, thanks, I have been experimenting with primer too. I like it!

Donna, interesting. I always felt like makeup melts off my skin a bit too. I assumed I’d need primer or something.

Staysfit, thanks for the detailed recs!

Zaeobi, thanks for mentioning Fenty. Been meaning to try them.

Thanks for the recs Cardiff Girl. My lashes are dark and thick, so I just don’t need mascara (in addition to not looking it). No need to dye. They don’t curl but I’ve come to accept that.

Thanks everyone I didn’t mention as well! This is all so helpful.
