That's not the way I want to look. It's a personal decision. Do what you want to do, and let me try to figure out what I want to do. We don't have to agree on what we think looks good. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I just don't want to look pale.

BC, I agree with you about continuing to color your hair. Letting my hair go gray would completely wash me out even with a change in makeup. I have been contemplating just let my hair go, but I love the way I look when my gray roots are colored.

Now I have a friend who went gray and it looks amazing on her and against her skin. I am not her!

Also, your hair colorist should be able to come up with a formula that works for you. My colorist friend devises individual formulas for her clients that many times takes a while to create for their specific desires. Hair coloring is a science.

I got my hair recolored this morning. My hairdresser took one look at my hair, saw the red, and decided to go with 5NA - natural ash (was 6NN - double neutral - before). It looks a lot better, and I was told to call her if any red peeks through. If it does, she'll fix it for free.
