Have a ball exploring and include Colorado on your next trip. Sam is soooo cute!

Have a great road trip, it looks like it is off to a wonderful start!!

You crack me up. Thank you!

Peggy, we're actually going to Park City over the weekend. I am NOT into outdoorsy sport - you have me pegged, (the city gal that I am) - but I love to walk, and Sam makes outdoorsy stuff a lot mote fun. He has a life jacket.

Angie, we stayed in Park City on our road trip in May, and ate at Vessel. I thought it was really delicious, especially the sides.

How exciting! I am sooo jealous. Dog friendly accommodation is hard to find here and dogs are prohibited in restaurants and cafes and at most beaches and a lot of parks. I would love to take Ms B on a road trip. Have a wonderful time!

Aww . . . that second picture is just like my boy!

How fun! Happy travel! I imagine how happy Sam is. Generally dogs loooove travelling!

Have a wonderful road trip and a great time exploring new places! Sam is your best accessory!

#2 is hilarious, thanks for sharing.
You look beautiful with the new glasses, I love, love, them.
Have a nice trip.

Have a great time, that's such a beautiful part of the country to explore by car and foot and paw. How lovely to have such an adorable co-pilot, who is hopefully NOT the traditional back seat driver

Have a wonderful, memorable trip. How nice to be able to take off and explore parts of the country like that.

Have a great trip, Angie! Sounds like a fun time.

How could anyone resist Sam?! Totally adorable.

Love your specs, but Greg's are fantastic!

This trip will bring you close to me in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota! The Sturgis motorcycle rally starts on Saturday, and there are already thousands of Harley bikes and riders taking over my small town...

Have a great time!! Sam so adorable. Hope he's doing ok with the heat!! Puppy seat belt car seat? We use rough rider but I'm not sure they are made any more. Sounds like an awesome trip!! Enjoy!!

I love a good road trip. Have a great time!

Missed this thread! I love exploring new cities on my own -- even better when you can explore with Sam, and then share what you've found with Greg that evening! Of course, there must be time for tea, reading and napping!

You've given me the prompt to join Instagram just so I can see your photos!

Everybody looking happy to be enjoying the adventure and just as cool, fresh and tidy as they do at home. I have no idea how you do that, I really don't.
Thank you for the happy photos of happy people doing fun things with a happy little pupster.

HAH. You're all lovely, and Sam thanks you for the compliments. We're having a great time.

Gryffin, we've tried. You can't keep a Yorkie in a seat belt. They manoever themselves out of them no matter what. Bed and Mum's lap work well enough.

I'm really happy to see you using Instagram, Angie! It's such a fun platform. Will you share your street style observations with us at some point? I'm sure the touristy mountain areas have a lot of gear, but I'd love to hear your take on the cities you visit.

Picture #1 of Sam! OMGosh isn't he the cutest Yorkie EVER?! Well, along with Jasmine and Rosie and Cosmo's girlfriend Sophie. Since Sam is a boy we'll just say he's the HANDSOMEST Yorkie ever! I keep clicking on that picture 'cause it's so dang cute.

We usually do at least one road trip every summer - it's one of my favorite ways to vacation. Enjoy!

Oh how fun! Have a great time! I do enjoy a good roadtrip.

WELCOME to Salt Lake! I'm so glad I logged in to see that you're in my town. Hope you're having a good time and enjoying the mountain views.

Here's a fun place for a drink and a meal:

And if you like killer Mexican food here's the local hot spot:

Thanks, Jenn. I shan't be taking street style shots because it's actually illegal to post them without the person's permission, and YLF is my livelihood. But the people here are well dressed - casual, smart casual and biz casual. Polished. VERY hipster. Generally better than Seattle, although Seattle is edgier and grittier, (the city - not the burbs). NO YOGA OUTFITS here, and not much Athleisure despite how outdoorsy the culture is. I'm loving it. EXCELLENT foodie scene which suits our foodie selves.

Julie, thank you. I'll look into the Tin Angel. Greg does not fancy Mexican.

Karie and Lisa, you are sweethearts. Go Team Road Trip.

Will have just missed you in Salt Lake. I'm sure you will like Park City.

I grew up in SLC. My friends and I were very critical of how tourists dressed. Summer rule for us: "Women shouldn't wear shorts in downtown SLC!" It's been so hot there lately that I'm not sure that "rule" still prevails.

Have a great time!

Angie is right about the yorkies-- the terrier in them or something. Mine, at the ripe old age of 14.5 has taught himself how to roll down the car windows with the buttons on the doors. He does this prancing dance until he hits it just right and then is extremely pleased with himself.

Angie, you look gorgeous in those new specs! I love them. Hope you are having a wonderful trip. I am on a road trip also! Mine is on the east coast, so quite different but we're also enjoying gorgeous sunny weather.

Angie I love the road trip shots! Sam is adorable.

How fun that we are both on the road at the same time! I am in a state of disorientation having been in London, SE Florida, Brooklyn, Long Island and soon NJ in the course of a few weeks.
Thanks for sharing your pictures and observations - especially fun to see you with Greg and Sam. I am gathering mine until I have the time and mental space to share them!
