DressLover, you story makes me laugh out loud because I did the same thing once. Several years ago I had so many boxes from NAS (basically multiple sizes, etc), I asked a friend to come along. One of us had a portable luggage trolley, another carried a second stack of boxes, and we still barely made it through the door. It was quite a sight, and yet nobody at Nordies batted an eyelash. I apologized profusely. (I hope they had a good laugh about it when we left)

I work in retail and the only time I've ever really raised my eyebrows at a return was when someone returned unworn items that were four years old! Still, I took it back professionally, while explaining that our policy had since changed quite a bit. I'm sure you'll have no trouble at Nordstrom.
