Lovely Suz! I think the larger size was a good idea, especially if you'll be wearing indoors (you'll want the extra range of motion).

Chiming in to say it is truly lovely and I would pay full price for it if I were you! I doubt you will regret it. The color reminds me of a denim jacket, and we all know how versatile those are.

Looks great on you and looks to be a quality piece that you can enjoy for a long time .

Your new jacket is *terrific* on you, Suz. So glad you got it. You'll get lots of joy from it, I'm sure!

Thanks again, all! You are all so generous to weigh in here; I haven't been on the forum much of late, certainly not posting photos. My daughter has my real camera for a class this term...

Marilyn, Massimo Dutti sizing seems to be like Zara sizing. I normally take an XS in places like Banana Republic and a small in Zara. In this case I ended up taking the medium jacket. There really wasn't much difference between it and the small at all in the shoulder or even the sleeve length/ width. It seems to fit quite small overall.

I wonder in fact if the sizing is consistent. They only had the one for me to try in each size, so I don't know. There was a flaw in the small jacket inside the pocket, which is another reason I went with the larger size. I'll try it on at home again just to make sure. I can always exchange for a small if it seems too big on reflection.

My experience with MD is that ALL their clothing runs small. Last year DS#2 was very close to having a (blue!) leather MD jacket, but the one that fit him had a flaw in the upper pocket (!) - it was sewn into the hem in such a way that it impacted his shoulder range of motion). He was in an XXL.

The clothing seems designed very slim, petite for women, and small European (narrow shoulders/hips short inseam) for men.

The very definition of a no brainer. (I also find Zara/MD sizing basically subtle variations of small.)

Wow, Suz! I'm late to the party, but I wanted to say that this jacket looks absolutely amazing on you. I'm glad you're getting it!

Late to this, but still had to say killer!

Thanks, Suz!
I forgot to mention, in my excitement, how amazing this jacket looks on you. Great find!

I'm wavering on whether or not to order one. I've been looking for such a jacket but a bit more navy. But, this one looks really great in the faded out blue.

This jacket absolutly screams Suz. Its gorgeous.

Late to the party but it's a stunning jacket for you Suz!

A stunning jacket, and I agree that the best choice is the size medium. When I'm on the fence about sizing, I go with the bigger size. I would rather have it look/actually be a little big than a little small.

Now I want that jacket AND the Kit and Ace pants AND the BR cropped flare jeans. Oh man.
