My question... How will the leather work in the winter? I don't know how your winters are, but I have avoided leather coats in winter because I wasn't sure how the leather handles snow or rain. Do you just have to check the forecast in the morning? It's probably no different than wearing one as an outdoor coat in the spring/fall, but a winter coat that can't get a little bit wet doesn't make much sense for halifax.

I looked it up and it comes in charcoal too. I wish I needed a coat because I saw another one that would be lovely while looking up this one. If I wasn't meeting my son this afternoon to buy a new suit, I would probably be heading to Danier.

Suz - I think the coat is stunning on you. I don't think the collar is too big on you open or closed. I have no idea what they call that type of collar now but it functions as a ruff - dramatic, elegant, ancient but fabulously modern! If that baby doesn't chase away the winter blues I don't know what will!! But I don't think many designers have put out this silhouette other than Vince (gosh, who's crushing on vince!!) Nice to see this unique neckline back and you wear it well!!
