Hi Angie,

I was browsing Danier, and this jacket really appeals to me. I would appreciate your opinion on if this style would work forme. The other jacket I am interested in is the red one from Zara. Are these worth a try?

I think the grey leather would be a great addition to your wardrobe for Spring and Fall. Both the colour and style seem very you.
I saw the Zara jacket the other day and it's very well made. The colour is gorgeous too - a real tomato red. Would you wear it to work?

Kate, the tomato red is on its way to me in two sizes because it's not in Zara stores in Seattle. You can wait for my report if you like.

LOVE the grey leather jacket for you. It has a similar shape to a white Summer jacket I bought at Zara a month ago that I just adore. We have similar top proportions - narrow, regular bust and long neck - so I suspect that the style will look great.

Truly, all tops, toppers, shoes and bags at Zara are worth a try. Their online service is brilliant and their style integrity tops in my book. It's their bottoms that are trickier.

Thank you! I have ordered the grey to try and I am very interested to hear your report on the red jacket --- the size range is big compared to a lot of their sole S/M options so I wonder what the fit is like.

True. Now more than EVER - Zara sizing is inconsistent. And it's complicated by how we want a garment to fit - tailored, fluid or oversized. Plus, their oversized pullovers this season are available in one size only - an M. Yup. It's tricky.

Yes! I seem to be lucky though as a Zara M based on their size charts seems to pretty much universally fit me (at least the 10 or so top/toppers/sweaters I have from there). I can see how it would be kind of frustrating.
