ETA: AG and Aida, Ask Angie and all: NAS T&B distressed jeans durability? ETA different angle

I got some of my NAS orders, these are the TB BF distressed jeans and plaid top.
The first set is with the jeans in the smaller size and the second set is one size up.
I have never bought distressed anything but I thought these were nice and the sale price was OK so I gave them a try.
The angle of the photos is a bit off, but you can see some ? saddling at the sides under my butt, maybe they could use a curvier cut for the derrière...
How durable or not durable are these distressed jeans?
If I keep them, will the larger size be more durable?
Do you think the wrinkling at the sides below the tush are a deal breaker?
They are comfortable otherwise. My only doubt is if I am wasting my money on something that will not last.
Back in the day, I used to throw out my jeans when they looked this way! It is all a matter of perspective, right?
Of course it's not like they will be the only jeans I will wear, I have so many!
If I keep them I will reinforce the tears with patches in the wrong side of the garment.
If you think they look bad or are a bad idea for me, please say so.
I am wearing the hat that Angie suggested for my BD.
Number 8 is not NAS but is the best truffle ever, so I gave it a place in my post. I have no affiliation with them, if I had I would eat them all so that would be bad for business.

Just MO, but I don't think the fit is good enough around the pelvis. There's the 'smile' lines at the bottom of the butt and some pulling at the crotch in front.

I like the way #3 fit, Joyce. Is that the larger size? (I KNOW. We used to throw away jeans that looked like this - and now they are fashion. How hectic is that?).

I think these have plenty of longevity. The patched jeans look is fringe - has been for four years - so you're okay.

Yes, number 3 is in the larger size.
Do distressed jeans fall apart in the washing mashine?

I haven't heard that from my clients and friends yet, Joyce. Seems to be okay. I can't offer personal feedback because I don't have torn jeans.

I think it was Anna who bought some very nice distressed designer jeans and the tears fell apart in the laundry. Maybe that's the nature of the beast with distressed garments.
If it bothers me enough I can patch up a pair of non-distressed jeans and go with those..

Sure, AG. It may take a little bit but I will add a (hopefully) better pict in the large size, too. BTW, the truffle is long gone, it was worth every calorie!

Waiting on the updated photos of the larger size. In the meantime, just wanted to say that my torn jeans (which are QUITE torn) have done fine in the wash. I turn them inside out and use the "hand wash" setting, then hang them up to air dry.

It took me a little bit but I added new picts of the larger size as per AG's and Aida's request. I got motivated after seeing how great they look on Rachy. Both sizes kind of look the same on me and to me, I think.
I hope I am not driving anyone nuts with my pictures.

The plaid top in the original pictures is also new, I kind of like it.

Angie, do you think the whiskering/ smile-like lines on the sides below the tush ruins the look? Maybe the cut is not curvy enough for me?
