So tomorrow is August 1st. I will commit to not entering a single mall during the entire month of August. Additionally, I will refrain from checking out any web-based merchandisers. When I get an itch, I will go buy groceries and cook.

I'm thinking about it.

So I might just have to place one more order today....the other things that i am eyeing are not on sale so no hurry; I can wait until September.

Although I'm itching for the last hours of No Buy July to end so I can get that tee, I must admit a lot of my other saved options are not calling out to me to buy them NOW, so I am going to proceed with caution for August.

Just to be totally honest, I returned some lingerie from NAS and ordered different bras and underwear instead. NOt sure how much will work out. The order will arrive in August, but I ordered yesterday. Hopefully that counts? I also pre-ordered a pair of Helmut Lang boots, arriving in September. I wanted to pre-order a pair of jeans from Rag & Bone, but with the arrival date in August, did not permit myself!

This will be the first time in over three years that I don't shop for more than 2 weeks.

I too would like to carry over my ascetic attitude from July- I have enjoyed the SYC mindset that it encourages!

I am in ... After a lot of thought! I have too many things to take care of this month (School fees (and related expenses) for two kids starting this year+DH's birthday+DS's dental appointment+a new set of couch for our living room).
