Ok, YLF. Yesterday I stapled a note to the tag on my Eliana dress and put it out for the dry cleaning van, aka the "Spoiled Rotten" van, PLEASE HEM FOUR INCHES.

If you still have anything lurking, get to it!

Okay, I didn't make it to the tailor when I posted on this thread before, but I finally got my two sleeve-shortening projects dropped off. And I added a custom made au dai I got from Vietnam that doesn't fit any more after I lost some weight, so she's taking it in so it will fit. Yay!

When I saw the subject line, my first thought was Hah! I am the Queen of Procrastination on getting things altered. I have two pairs of beautiful summer trousers I thrifted during the pandemic, still waiting to be shortened. Maybe this is the week.

One thing I finally did do - I sought out a stylist who cuts curly/wavy hair a few weeks ago, and it's been a game-changer for me.

You inspired me to get the belts to the cobbler, and to realize I had a box of heels I meant to donate still in my closet. Those will go out next time we drop things off. But we have stifling heat now so the pants will have to wait.

MB - boy, do I hear you on the curly hair stylist! I live in fear that my Deva-trained stylist will close her shop or change careers.

c2 - if you were inspired, my work here is done!

I finally donated three large bags to the thrift store. I have two more to go. I am debating about some more.

I am agonizing about alterations because our small town does not have a talented seamstress. I would need to drive about an hour away.
