I'm 17 and I love plaid! No idea if it's "in style" or whatever - I don't really pay attention to that sort of thing. I just wear what I like that I look nice in. Also I'm from North America so I don't know if that makes a difference.

I actually plan to ask for a plaid shirt or two for Christmas this year! Only problem is I can't find one that's fitted nicely - it seems like all of them are relaxed and baggy, which looks really bad on me. Anybody know where to find a semi-fitted plaid shirt? That comes in petites? I was looking at L.L.Bean and Duluth Trading Co. - theirs seem nice.

I think plaid is always on. My 9 year old seems to think they are fashionable also

KK - I don't know what size you are but the LL Bean flannels do come in a "slightly fitted" version. This is fairly new; when I bought my last one several years ago, they only came in "relaxed fit" but I went down one size from what I usually take and it fits perfectly. And if you need smaller all over, they do petite sizing as well.
