These are fabulous booties.
They are weatherproof, but the leather is still very nice. Not plasticy like you sometimes see.
The toe is refined and slightly pointed. A sweet spot for me for sure.
They accommodate my somewhat fussy feet just fine. There is no issue with width etc.
I am choosing to return them because the heel is too high for me. I know, it doesn't look high. But it's about 1/2 an inch higher than I like. It says 1.5 inch heel, but I measured mine, and it's closer to 2 inches.
After about 10 minutes of wearing them indoors, it started to bother me. I am probably the only person this would bother, but I've learned a few things about myself. One is that I will never just grab them. I will always pause, think about if I'm walking at lunch, how my feet will feel, etc. I will have to actively make myself wear them.
So, sadly, I am going to pass. It's hard to let them go, but I'll be shaking my head at myself come January if I keep them.
Seriously, if you can wear a modest heel, I'd give them a try.
