So funny that you posted this! I was just in Express today for the first time in ages. I don't think any of these are your style, but I came home with:

I was really debating, because I was afraid it's too ... young? Casual? Trendy? I very, very rarely shop at Express (I'm trying to buy better quality) but I've been looking for a just throw it on, weekend-type jacket for a long time. It's cotton - so it's very casual - and it's fairly low-key - the buttons don't scream "MILITARY!!!" It's got a nice shape. I still have the tags on, but I'm thinking it might be a keeper. (The olive color is really nice, too. But of course, I bought the black.) I also picked up two tops:
