Anyone hit up the Nordstrom sale?

DH and I went to the mall for lunch and then he abandoned me to browse the sale. I ended up with this absolutely adorable jacket:

and this amazing grey sweater that I can't find on the website. It's long in the back and short in front, with a kind of cut-out hem, and it was only $42! It was in the denim and Hinge type section, whatever that is. I think it would be a perfect item for Rae - it's very "UWP goes to work".

My husband and I have an appt. tomorrow night. I think he is using it as an excuse to shop for himself, even though men's isn't on sale! : )

DL, I saw it and it was way too long for me, even in XS. It's also very lightweight - in no way wearable here except maybe two days of the year. *sniffle*

A lot of the lovely silk items were so staticky! Another reason to avoid them in winter.

Anna, I noticed those cashmere arm warmer thingies and loved them and my first thought was, "when I lose one of them I will want to hurt myself!!"

What's this about silk being static-y in winter? Say it isn't so; I was about to invest!

Claire, I find light unlined silk items get VERY clingy in winter. The skirts were practically sticking to me as I walked by. It is very cold and dry up here. BLAH. I carry a small bottle of leave-in conditioner with me all season!

I did a panic order at the crack of dawn today because I'm afraid what I want will be gone later in the day (when I have my wits about me). Mostly it was kid items, but I ordered this last week (same price today)

yes, spent $$$ like a drunken sailor...

a dress that is SO out of my comfort zone i needed a personal shopper, another customer and my husband to tell me the dress looks fine. i may still return it. no longer on line.

this jacket, which is the prime-est candidate to be returned the more i look at it.

this jacket that i'm feeling very sick to my stomach about, but am totally besotted with, but will likely return to assuage my guilt...

because i'm keeping this "i don't care if my husband gives me the stink eye because it's not his cup of tea" vest. not everyone's cup of tea. warning, dead animal.

this jacket because it was mis-marked as $114 instead of the actual $414 so i was losing money by not getting it.

and some random tops that i'm going to return because i'm frugal...ummm, yeah...
