Here’s my experience with returns during these ‘quarantine times’:

BEST result: an in-store return at Target of 2 separate shipments made during the month of March. $$$ showed up on my credit card within 3 days. I got lucky, as I decided to venture out on the day they re-opened and started accepting internet returns. No line, which did surprise me. The store was extremely well set up for protecting both employees and customers, I felt safe the entire time I was in the store, which albeit was very brief.

NEUTRAL result: a return via prepaid mailing label to Nordstrom. Return $$$ showed up 3 weeks later. Thank you Nordstrom, but I did expect a more timely result. I’m afraid I have been spoiled by their stellar history of terrific customer service.

THE JURY IS STILL OUT: Uniqlo and Coldwater Creek. Mailed 3 weeks ago with prepaid return label, no response from either retailer. Possibly a total loss but not too much of an investment.
