Anthropologie jeweled collar styling help please

I've just purchased this Anthropologie jeweled collar & I welcome your suggestions for wearing it:

I started thinking about maybe buying a jeweled collar although my lifestyle is very informal when I saw Stacy London at the Southcenter event wearing this J. Crew jeweled collar sweater:

I liked the juxtaposition of tweed & a bit of sparkle. The sweater was no longer available except on Ebay, etc., & I hesitated because I wasn't sure I'd wear it enough to justify purchasing it. But then I saw the Anthropologie collar necklaces, which seem more versatile. And I love turquoise, so when I saw the collar with the beautiful combination of turquoise & soft green, it really appealed to me. which is more neutral, but the turquoise/green really spoke to me, so I got it instead. I'm heartened to see jeweled collars shown with jeans:

It would look great with an outfit like I'm wearing today in my WIW, but with a collarless shirt. Same sweater, your collar necklace, jeans and nude boots (for me)? Fabulous. You are going to have a lot of fun with that beauty!

I love it with the lace shirt in the pic. I would wear one with a sweatshirt or a sweater too.
