Hugs:) I understand Deborah.

Remember (deep breath) It does LOOK great though.

I think you look fantastic. The jacket, the red shoes, the clutch...you look elegant and fun somehow at the same time.

If you need a little edge to feel more like yourself could you add your colbalt booties or something of that ilk into the mix?

Deborah, I haven't seen the other option, but I love this!
It can be hard sometimes to dress for special occasions and feel special, because somehow the event itself ( and the weather) can put constraints on our own unique style.
Know that you will look fantastic in this, even if it doesn't feel perfect, and I hope you have a great time!

Of course it is too hot for the booties, sorry Deborah, I should have my second cuppa before making suggestions.

Thank you so much for all your input. I realise you must be totally sick of my indecision.
Im actually at the wedding venue as I type...worried about being late I arrived almost an hour early:). The wedding is at an artists colony ...it's quite beautiful. So DS and I are enjoying the sites.

I decided upon the lace trimmed dress and black jacket with my red pumps, long red beads and black and white polka dot clutch. I ruled the white jacket out as I felt very self conscious about wearing white as i am sitting on the bridal table!

DS is in nice black jeans, a blue and white striped shirt with a blue tie with coloured skull and crossbones...he looks pretty cool.

I have the camera, so photos soon.

Thanks again for your help, you are all awesome. Oh and it's not hot...yay! Sunny and warm but not hot xxxx

Enjoy the wedding Deborah! x
