Oh - like that wash too! Wonder if they will ever go on sale.
Una - I duplicated the first one as well. Two different sizes - Large and EXTRA Large!

I like that wash!
I duplicated the Miramar wash too, by getting a pair of PJ shorts in addition to the jeans! They are super comfyI got small for both, I didn't want them too baggy. DD still calls them bird poo jeans. I do wear them, but worry a little that I look too sloppy/dirty in them when I go out with the littles. As if I'm a mom who didn't bother to change my jeans after a blowout, LOL.

I love the idea of those jeans so much. It's tempting to try them, but 1) ack, the price! and 2) I get the feeling these are much better suited to the slim-of-hip. I look at that back pocket placement and think that would do me absolutely zero favors. Kind of like the Dre jeans.

Since I am in a no-buy period, I am feeling completely free to ogle. Those are so, so cool. I get tempted every time you post about them, Una, but then I realize they just push too RATE for me. They are for the parallel me that lives another life. I love to look at them, though. Killer style and they look incredibly comfy.

Hmmm, grease spots versus holes.

I still love my pair, but haven't worn them much - too hot! I like the look with booties, and I may debut them this fall that way.

Janet, I thought I looked okay with them even though I'm kind of chubby. The price was definitely offputting, but hey, I'm on Barney's mailing list now! I wonder what the mail carrier thinks of that.

You had me at sweat pants. I actually need a new pair. These could be fun as a total wild card for me. But 28 inch inseam is too long -- would not be cutely cuffed and showing ankle.

Also I'm not sure about the elastic around the ankles. Sweatpants or pjs like that drive me nuts. Tickles!

Jackiec, they aren't that different from the Miramars, really. I only noticed the difference because of the name.

I'm 5'... what is your hip measurement? Mine is 35-ish. Nordstrom's is saying I need a small?

Are they tight around your ankles? It seems that the print makes the elastic part look like a cuff?

I'm wondering if these would be good for lounging around the house, long car rides, Sunday movie dates, and perhaps occasional events when we're out hanging with the local hipsters... ? Hmm....

Still not sure they are "me" but heck if I need new sweatpants maybe this would be a fun spin...

I think my hips are around the same... I am wearing a S in yesterday's WIW and could have gone up to a M for even more slouch. They would probably be a little baggier on you because you are smaller than me overall. They are super comfy, and the elastic is wide and doesn't bother me at all. In fact it allows me to push them up to capri length or shorter, which is how I wore them this summer.

Once you wear them you will never want to take them off.

I just did some googlin' and saw that Rae purchased the XS, and her hips are wider than ours? So potentially I could try the XS? Do they stretch out?

I seem to recall that Rag & Bone jeans are a close fit for me, if I size up. And that a few months ago I tried on some of their (denim) baggy jeans and LOVED them -- but they did not have them in my size, I really needed to size down in them, to get the vertical proportions just right...by that I mean the rip at the knee was well below my knee!

They do stretch, and they shrunk a bit washed and hung dry, but stretched back out. I definitely think you could do the XS for a less sloppy/slouchy fit., as Rae wanted. With regard to height, you can compare me and Jackiec in them as she is much taller than me... They are surprisingly versatile.

Janet, I'm wider in the hips and I have them. I got the medium and they are a little loose in the waist and fit my hips with no pocket gaping. My only gripe is that they are really tight if I try to push up to capri.

Una, if they come out with a very faded black wash, I'm in.
