Another lipstick question

For years I have used Maybelline Moisture Extreme g300 Rum Raisin. However I haven't seen it around recently. Has anyone seen it, or if it is discontinued, seen an equivalent?

I bet you can go to the Maybelline website and send them an email asking- they may be able to point you to a replacement.

Looks like they have it on the website that I posted earlier, so I'm assuming it is discontinued.

Sometimes if you write to them, they will send you a sample of the discontinued product. That used to happen to my mom years ago, anyway! She didn't ask for it; just said she was sad she couldn't find it anymore. And voila!

I tend to check Makeup Alley for the discontinued product. They will often
post recommendations/reviews of equivalents. Also, I've found long
discontinued products on eBay, fresh and unopened. (I'm not one who
pays any attention to expiration dates. If some lotion separates or smells
funky, it's done, otherwise...)

I got an answer today - yes it is discontinued and there is no exact replacement. Time to go testing colours again.
Modgrl, that is an amazing service, and thanks for pointing it out - but at that pricetag I won't be following it up - the lippie only cost about $12 in the first place

Yep, its surprising what will turn up on eBay. I usually just add a search and get emails when/if the specific is listed.

I also resented paying that much for a tube of lipstick, I totally get it. But after trying 8 different $10 lipsticks to try to replace the original and still not being satisfied, I realized that I would be in better shape just paying more for the one I want than spending money trying things that were not quite right.
