It would appear that Pantone is not the only forecasting company doing the color of the year predications, others are doing it as well and their predictions may be different from Pantone's Viva Magenta! WSGN predicts that "Digital Lavender" will be color of the 2023: https://www.marieclaire.com/fa.....rend-2023/.

According to the article: “Digital lavender is a color full of hope and positivity” ...“It’s a shade that poses that much-needed cautious optimism and escapism that people are craving post-pandemic and even in times of budget crunch; it is imaginative and creative but also speaks of serenity and balance." . All of this appeals very much to me.

The colors in the article are a mix of lavenders and lilacs, but they are close enough.

I am very happy about this as purple is my favorite color and I already wear it a lot. This simply means that it may be easier to find at retail. It is a much more flattering color for me than "Viva Magenta". I had already planned to incorporate light purples in both my spring and summer palettes, and may incorporate it in the fall colors as well.

Over to you- is this a color you like and would you wear it? Do you have a preference for it or for Viva Magenta, or perhaps both or neither?
