New to me! Saw some of these in a local boutique. OMG, they are beautiful in person and they come in COLORS. Drool away! Between these and the Bos. & Co. brand, I'm completely boot-addled!

I did, of course. They run a bit small, like most of these "handcrafted" boots, but they are gorgeous and surprisingly not heavy. Shedev, these will fit right into your wardrobe! The reds are really appealing.

I have a pair of A.S. 98 boots and I love them. It was an unfamiliar brand to me when I first saw them at a small shoe store in northern California two summers ago. It was love at first sight. I always find myself reaching for them. I find their boots run big, especially in width, but I can deal with that with inserts and thick socks. My A.S. 98s wear like iron, are very comfortable, and look better as they age. I know they're pricey, but you won't be sorry if you buy a pair.

Una, I've had them about 2.5 years, and have worn them a lot. I've trekked around Iceland in them twice, and they're going back there again with me in November. I only wish you hadn't posted that link, because now I have the handsome Syracuse boots in Forest on my mind. If you really want drool-worthy images, go to the A.S.98 website, http://www.as-98.com.

I just got my first pair of AS98's a couple weeks ago! I'd seen them at a little boutique, couldn't get them out of my mind, and had to go back for them. They blew my footwear budget for awhile so AG, I think you need to get some AS98's and report back so I can live vicariously!
