Update:
Tried them on at home and I think they look bad on me. The angle of my dressing room mirror shots made them look slimmer and more tapered. Granted this is a terrible photo with negative hair and make-up detail. But sometimes I like to take pictures this way because if a garment can look ok on your worst day, it's a keeper.
1) With new DV sandals, think I'm returning them too. They look orthopedic and the all white is a bit too hospital for my taste.
2) I do love the plaid top. Here with my second pair of "Mom" jeans -- they are a slightly more fluid fabric than the first pair. And I am keeping these sandals. These are all things I acquired during my quick trip to the city, and I'm keeping all three.
Overall, I feel the Haydens looked way better on Anna because she is taller. She looks so good in hers! I feel they overwhelm me, so they are going back. I think I can achieve the same hay-pitching Country Nerd look with the black UO Mom jeans.
