This is probably "duh" for everyone else, but I only just realized today that in-store returns aren't showing up online. I was at the store to do some returns and asked off-hand about ordering an item that was sold out online (the Halogen navy/black lace sweater). The SA was happy to look it up for me and placed an order for my size to be shipped from another (unspecified) store... it seemed like they had multiple available in the system, as he didn't warn me about it being a long shot or anything.

The sweater has been totally sold out online since the start of the public sale. So if anyone else is stalking something, I encourage you to go into a store (or call) and ask for a store search!

UPDATE: Just received an order cancellation email So the reliability of this method is questionable, although I'm no worse off than before.
