I dropped my leather/suede pants off at Nordstrom's yesterday to alter. The lady had a bit of a language barrier. We are hemming them to right where they would touch the ground if I were barefoot. Fine.
It's the back waist being taken in. She has 2 chalk marks on the band to show how much material needs to come in. But it's off to the left in the back and I'm now concerned. I want the middle seam opened down the back and the extra material taken in there. I'm starting to envision weird darts being put in or something. Should I call or just trust that she will take apart the existing seam?
