So, I recently posted a thread about handbags, and got lots of great input, including advice from Janet about thinking about complements that helped me choose a new bag (thank you!):

When I got the bag home, I realized that it was ivory and not white, however. I have bright white loafers and white sneakers, and a white watch strap. I do have newly acquired ivory booties and loafers from NAS, though, so I think I did create a complement but not exactly what I intended.
Questions:
1) Do you mix ivory and white? Would you treat them as one complement or two?
2) Do you think the taupe strap on the bag is enough taupe to be a complement with other taupe or similar items?

Thanks for reading/indulging me - I am tragically color challenged!

Pic 5 w/taupe loafers (they look like a very close match with the strap, but maybe not so much in the pic)
Pic 6 w/white converse (excuse the dinge, they need a bath)
